These times, they are a changin’, and so are our prices.
Here’s a little ‘what, when and why’ about everything going on in the coffee / café market.
Like many businesses, Fox Coffee has been at the forefront of the push-and-pull when it comes to global supply chain and agricultural market disruptions, especially over the year with the rapid rise in inflation in the last few years.
To date we have been able to absorb and balance the rising operational costs however, as increases have further compounded with surges across all elements of our business,we need to adjust.
While all of these increases are inevitability part of running a business, we need to change prices in accordance with market forces in order to ensure the Fox Coffee team can deliver the best quality products and services.
Our new prices will take effect from Monday 1st July 2024 and while we have been hesitant to pass on costs in the past, this price increase will ensure the Fox Coffee team continue to deliver the highest quality coffee products, accessories and service going forward.
As of 1/7/24, our new coffee (bean/bag) prices are as follows:
Coffee Blends
Single Origin Beans
New prices also apply to our Tasting Packs.
The good news is that our tasting packs still reflect great value coffee with a saving of 25%.
Free shipping applies to online purchases over $35 (this means all Tasting Packs ship free anywhere in Australia).
All orders placed online from Monday 1st July 2024, including new and existing Coffee Subscriptions will be charged at new prices, which will take full effect online and in our Espresso Bar from 6am Monday 1st July 2024.
In-store at our Geebung Espresso Bar we’re increasing the cost of all cup sizes 40c for 6oz, 8oz, 12oz & 16oz. This increase is due to not only the aforementioned impacts, but to ensure our baristas are paid well and fairly.
We pride ourselves on paying above award wages and continue to increase wages beyond rising inflation costs. People matter in our business, and we will continue to invest in staff to deliver you the best coffee possible.
The short story: Costs across the business have soared in recent times. This increase is to keep pace with inflation: energy costs, borrowing costs and rises in the Super Contribution and to the minimum wage. Our aim remains to provide you delicious, fresh coffee without compromising quality of coffee purchased, or our staff wages, hence we are increasing our prices.
As always, we thank you for your continued support and love of Fox Coffee.
