Honduras is home to more than 120,000 families who are involved in coffee production, 95% of which operate at a smallholder level and are responsible for a 3rd of the country’s agricultural GDP.
This 3-hectare farm is home to 18,000 Castillo and Caturra trees, which have already produced their first three crops.
The Manager Jairo Rodriguez along with his wife and three grown children manage the farm, growing and picking the coffee, with his daughter using her experience to assist in cherry selection.
