Bright, juicy and made for long mornings.
This washed lot comes from small scale growers around Manta, Cundinamarca, working with Cooperativa De Operación Nacional Agropecuaria in the Tenza Valley region of the Colombian Andes. High altitudes from around 1200 to 2000 metres, clay rich soils and cool temperatures give the coffee plenty of time to develop sweetness and complexity.
The main varieties here are Castillo and Colombia, harvested by hand and fully washed at local mills before drying. The result is a classic Colombian profile with a modern twist bright fruit on top, gentle sweetness underneath and a tidy finish.
