Honduras Moises Hidardo Hernandez (Filter Roast)

Moises is the fourth generation of farmers and the initiator of the Cafesmo project. Not only he works on many aspect of the organization, but also, together with his wife, runs a specialty coffee shop in the town of Santa Rosa de Copán, where they also serve fine cacao.

Moises is the type of person who loves challenges and experiments, and for that reason he is not afraid of applying new processing methods to his coffees. Sometimes this leads to very pronounced, even radical flavor patterns, extremely fruity, tropical, effervescent or with hints of sweet grape and red wine.

He is also fully aware that for some coffee drinkers this type of coffee may be a bit too extreme thought, that is why he also prepares natural, honey and washed specialty coffees with exciting and unique descriptors, but more accessible and not exclusively for connoisseurs.
